    Role:

    The Mobile App Developer will be responsible for designing and building interfaces and advanced applications for the Android and/or iOS platform to improve user experience. Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code using Agile methodology. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, deploy new features and optimize deployments, and migrate and adapt existing web applications to the leading mobile platforms. Our client need the team to continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

    Job description

    • Manage the full technical life-cycle of applications during each development phase
    • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
    • Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
    • Continuously discover and ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application
    • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
    • Help maintain code quality, organization and automation

    What You'll Need To Succeed

    Our ideal candidate will have a BA or BS (MSc preferred) degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field, together with 5-7 years' software development experience (with a minimum 2 years' proven work experience as a Mobile Apps iOS/Android developer). You should have a demonstrable portfolio of released iOS apps in the App store and/or Android apps in the Android market, with 2+ years’ experience in software coding and development for mobile commerce solution, e money payments and other alternative payments methods.

    Essential Strengths:

    • 5+ years of experience in Mobile Applications Development
    • Deliver code for a high-quality, test-driven, standards-based
    • Demonstrate technical excellence in software development (program design, coding, testing, debugging)
    • Implement new applications, enhancements and bug fixes

    • Work with other members of the development team as well as product owners and business analysts to define functional and technical requirements
    • Be a key contributor in the estimation process allowing the team to provide high quality estimates
    • Assist end users in resolving and identifying system issues by providing application knowledge and technical expertise. Recommend appropriate solutions including risk analysis and work estimates
    • Recommend system enhancements, patches or upgrades necessary to support system stability and performance
    • Provide on-call support for trading platform
    • Other essential tasks may occur.

    Skills:

    • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web sockets to connect applications to back-end services
    • Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns and best practices
    • Knowledge of the open-source ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
    • Understanding of design principles and interface guidelines
    • Understanding Reactive design principles
    • Understanding dependency injections

    Responsibilities

    • 5+ years customer support experience
    • Assists customers with all areas of applications.

    • Sets up new accounts for customers, and resets passwords when necessary.
    • Installs Company approved software applications as needed.
    • Troubleshoots systems and maintains equipment.
    • Provides backup to systems including troubleshooting of server applications, and working issues as assigned.
    • Repairs or replaces users and agent in call center as needed.
    • Creates and maintains all installation instructions for software applications.
    • Windows/Linux/Unix system administration skills
    • Fundamental networking knowledge
    • Experience working with Windows Server and MS Exchange
    • Knowledge of VSS and Active Directory
    • Windows command line administration
    • Basic SQL Administration
    • Leadership experience is a plus

    Requirements

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with employees and customers at all levels.
    • Working knowledge of past and current versions of MS Windows and Server Operating Systems.
